Barcelona (1873) - (1926)
He was a pupil of the ceramicist A. Serra and learned the technique of sculpture with Rossend Nobas.
He was known for his work as a smith and embosser - he made some excellent pieces, such as the ironwork for Casa Garí (1898; Sant Miquel del Cros, 9, Argentona), by J. Puig i Cadafalch -, but he also stood out in other artistic fields, such as jewellery.
As a jeweller he made large articles out of iron - making use of his expertise with this material - combined with enamel and employing Art Nouveau designs. The pieces bear certain similarities to the art of J.M. Jujol.
As a painter, he adhered to the postulates of Realism, unlike what he did in his ironwork.
