Francesc Tiestos

Smith and metal worker
(1) - Barcelona (1924)

Son of the smith Francesc Tiestos Vidal, he specialised in hammered sheet iron, which was much used for the floral decoration of various Modernista works, and won prizes for his ironwork at the Artistic Ironwork Exhibition held in Barcelona in 1921.
He taught metalwork and ceramics at the Barcelona School of Fine Arts from 1898.
