1- Aims to provide updated and quality information on the city’s services.
Information published on this website is valid at the time of publication and updated as quickly as possible.

6- Is represented on social media networks
Barcelona City Council is represented on several social media networks and platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and Issuu. When you access any of these or other social networks, note that user terms and conditions which apply are the ones established for each platform and not the ones specified for the City Council.
7- Complies with the current legal framework for content responsibility.
The City Council, under the current law in force, accepts responsibility for the contents of this website that have been prepared by the City Council itself. As for content supplied by users and third parties, the City Council shall be exempted for any responsibility, as provided for under Articles 13 and 17 of Spain’s Act 34/2002, on Services of the Information Society and e-Commerce. The City Council shall also be exempted in particular from any responsibility for any linked content, as provided for under Article 17 of that same Act.
The City Council shall not be responsible for any improper use that users may make of the website’s contents. Nor shall the Council be responsible for any problems that may arise in accessing the portal or any malfunctioning due to causes outside its control.

The Barcelona Modernisme Route is an itinerary that takes you through the Barcelona of Gaudí, Domènech i Montaner and Puig i Cadafalch, the architects who, together with others, made Barcelona the world capital of Modernisme. This Route enables you to get to know thoroughly impressive palatial residences, amazing houses, the temple that has become a symbol of the city and a huge hospital, but it also includes humbler and more everyday buildings and items such as chemists’, shops, lampposts and benches - modernist works which show that Art Nouveau put down strong roots in Barcelona and today Modernisme is still an art that is alive and part of life in the city.
