Casa Evarist Arnús
1903
Enric Sagnier i Villavecchia
Barcelona (1858) - (1931)
Residence of the Arnús bankers family, this estate -also known as “el Pinar” (“the Pine Grove”)- was designed by the inevitable Enric Sagnier i Villavecchia in 1903. A little further on is the estate caretakers’ house, which is also in Neo-Gothic style. This mansion provides one of the typical night sites of this district: when floodlit, it appears like a castle out of a fairy tale.
