Bernat Pejoan i Sanmartí
Sant Vicenç de Castellet (1864) - Barcelona (1920)
He moved to Barcelona to study at the School of Architecture, from which he graduated in 1889. He began working as an assistant to the architect E. Rogent on the restoration of Ripoll monastery and also worked for the 1888 Barcelona Universal Exhibition.
Several later works by him are to be found in Manresa, including Casa Padró Riera (1918; Passeig de Pere III, 38) and Casa Leandre and Casa J. Victori (Plaça de Cots, 10-11), as well as the monument to J. A. Clavé (Plaça de Josep Anselm Clavé). He designed another monument to Clavé in the village where he was born. He also worked in Madrid and Burgos.
