There is very little information available on the brothers Luis and José Badia i Miarnau, both smiths.
They collaborated on several works by the architect A. Gaudí, such as Casa Batlló (1904; Passeig de Gràcia, 43) and Palau Güell (1885-1889; Nou de la Rambla, 3-5), and the balconies of La Pedrera (1906-1910; Passeig de Gràcia, 92). They also worked under the orders of the decorator A. Ros on the former Casa Figueras (1902; Rambla, 83; now the Escribà cake shop).
