These stained-glass window making brothers had had a workshop in Paris since 1860, but they also set up an almost industrial type workshop in Barcelona. Their production, which reflected a certain eclecticism, was of a high technical standard. They also established themselves in Madrid and San Sebastian, where they were very successful.
They worked with Jeroni Martorell i Terrats making the stained-glass windows for the two buildings of the Caixa Sabadell (1907-1910; De la Font, 1, 1915; Gràcia, 17) in Sabadell. They also worked on Casa Pérez Samanillo in Barcelona (1910; Balmes, 169), by the architect J.J. Hervàs, and on the Palacio Episcopal de Astorga (at a time when A. Gaudí was no longer directing the work).
