
He qualified as an architect in 1914 and was the municipal architect of Manresa from then until 1954.
His work is completely Noucentista ("1900-ist", a term coined in 1906 to refer to 20th century Catalan culture), such as the Teatre Kursaal of Manresa (1927; Passeig de Pere III), but prior to that, in 1917, he designed a newsstand in the same town using the Modernista language: the Fius i Palà newsstand (1917; Plaça de Sant Domènech, s/n).
