Daughter of the painter Josep Teixidor Busquets, she trained only with her brother, Modest Teixidor, who was also a painter.
Although not a painter that can be regarded as Modernista, hers is an example of the type of painting done by a large number of women of the time. Her work featured mainly flowers, an eminently feminine theme in the artistic field. She held several exhibitions in Barcelona, where she was very successful. This led her to show her work in Madrid, Paris, Mexico and Brussels too, and she won a number of prizes.
In 1917, a statue of her by M. Fuxà was put up in Parc de la Ciutadella in Barcelona. There is also a portrait of her by the painter R. Casas (1910; MNAC collection).
