The Escofet Mosaics House, specialized in hydraulic pavements, was located in origin, in 1890, at the Ronda de Sant Pere, no.8. Subsequently, all the decoration, both interior and exterior, was transferred to its current location. This decree was made by Josep Pascó (1856-1920), decorator, lecturer at La Llotja and mosaic designer.
The lining is made of artificial stone panels, decorated with floral motifs and wooden frames as well. The modernist motifs are concentrated in the signboard and the upper grates, however, in the rest, a drawing of pavement that the same decorator had been repeated.
